Finding a Used Concession Trailer

Saturday, June 28th, 2008

My family has always talked about getting into the restaurant business, but instead of just jumping right out there and purchasing a building, food, licenses and all the other necessary items I came up with a different approach. How about we try some of the dishes and see what people would think first. Before we open up some huge restaurant lets see if we can all get along first.

Not everyone was happy but the idea started to grow on everyone and soon they all started coming up with ideas. Two were to come up with a few items for the menu, another was beverages and third was me. I had to find a used concession trailer because we were going to hit the fair. I mean where else were we going to get a ton of people to show up and eat from? If we could do it somewhere there’d be a ton of people willing to pay a lot of money we could find out if our business idea would be a flop and what we should and shouldn’t add to the menu.

I learned the best place to find used concession trailers was to go online. Sure you can check your local paper or even all the used car lots but you’ll be wasting your time. I found mine in a matter of hours and was cleaning it out by the end of the week.
