Now that you’re a mother, you’re most likely observing countless things in a different way; for instance, the beauty of minute socks to the numerous number of electrical outlets there is all around the house. And things which once seemed quite simply, a short walk in the countryside, are now a great deal more complex.

Acquiring the most suitable pram or pushchair is key. However, it can be frightening to discover the selection of prams, pushchairs, carrycots, 3 in 1 prams and three-wheeler pushchairs available these days. Nevertheless, the answer to getting the most suitable pram and/or pushchair is easy indeed – purchase the one that’s ideal for you, your child as well as your complete family.

If you are looking for a pram, pushchair or versatile buggy ideal for running then choose based upon practicality. You will want to have the capability to assemble, dis-assemble and load your pram with your prized cargo with composure, even if the loved one frantically needs a doze. Test your pushchair at a retail store, otherwise look for customer comments online in order to help understand which one will best suit your specific requirements.

The way you usually travel will affect your pram or pushchair purchase. Normal public transport users will require a pushchair which is lightweight and uncomplicated to get up and down steps. Whereas, if you use a vehicle, then it is important that you make sure that the pushchair can fold to a size that goes in your vehicle’s boot. Some pram and pushchair combinations can also be altered into a baby car seat, which is can be very versatile.

Two pram characteristics can make it easier walking with your baby. Pram and pushchair wheels usually either revolve, which makes it easier to operate them, or lock, which is imperative for bumpy ground. Many products include both.

Always check the height of the handle on your pram or pushchair. This is important if older brothers will be walking with the pram, in addition to varied-sized adults; as you might want a pram or pushchair that has a variable handle height extension. Find a large selection of baby & child products including; prams, highchairs and babywear from leading brands online.

Pram and pushchair combos will accommodate your kid’s changing needs, from newborns lying back to more energetic toddlers. Simply by considering your requirements, and the main qualities of the prams, will help you buy a pram that you can take you and your baby into your future as one.

Private planes by their precise nature are convenient, plush, and a real delight to fly on, nonetheless the total amount of individuals and enterprises selecting to fly privately has significantly increased since they regard private aviation in reality to be somewhat more safe than flying commercial.

For instance, instead of acquiring a private jet, lots of organisations are looking at fractional ownership as it provides you access to a big variety of planes therefore letting individuals who require to charter a business aircraft to acquire all of the benefits of owning a private aeroplane without the repairs or staffing overheads associated.

To further improve the safety of these jets, many jet companies are only letting their pilots to fly one particular make of aeroplane.

These big fleets of jets each of which differ in shape, range and speed and all have an entirely different display design and flight performance. As with any type of machine that you may well have operated some time in the past, you will know that it takes a significant amount of time to understand the controls and arrangement, and by only letting a pilot to fly one specific type of aircraft, you never have to be anxious about the pilot being in an unknown situation. Find more information on jet aircraft and private aviation from leading companies online.

That is why when chartering a private plane; you should look for a business that only lets their pilot to work one specific type of plane, thus guaranteeing that they are entirely familiar with their jet and instruments, giving you the greatest safety possible.

By specialising on one particular variety of aeroplane whether it is a Hawker 440XP or the significantly larger Gulfstream G550, you are secure in the truth that your pilot is equipped for every occasion and eventuality, and for that reason will reply as quick as possible, thus guaranteeing the best possible safety levels for you, and your fellow passengers.

Add this with an extensive maintenance crew looking after the aircraft range, and a custom of on-going education and learning by the pilots, you can be assured that private aviation is without doubt the safest mode of transport.

Effective business promotion is more powerful than advertising. Using golf is one the best ways to increase your business and personal success. Playing golf is the foundation for networking and recruiting. Think about the relaxed atmosphere a golf course provides. It is surely not an office environment where you have to watch what you say and how you behave. Many business opportunities have been realized on the golf course. In addition, many job offers have been negotiated there as well. Here are seven strategies that will help you network and recruit for your business and personal success:

“It’s not who you know, it’s who knows you.”

•	Observe the true character of the person while playing golf. They are more relaxed and open in this environment than at the office.

•	Learn what challenges their businesses face and think how you can help solve their problems. Caution: don’t offer your solutions on the golf course. Wait until after the round.

•	Ask open-ended questions. Remember your best approach in asking is: who, what, where, when, and how questions. It shows that you are interested in them.

•	Make them be interested in what you do. When you are asked, “What do you do?” don’t give them your title or what products/services or industry you represent. Give them a description of the benefits you offer. For example: “I help small business owners, on a limited budget, create more revenue.”

“Where can I find good, dedicated and hardworking people?”

Most businessmen and women are always on the lookout for talented people to help them in their businesses. Why couldn’t it be you? You can tell many things about a person’s character by playing golf with them. You can tell the following:

•	Honesty/integrity…Do they cheat? Do they play by the rules? Do they make excuses for not playing well?

•	Thoughtfulness/consideration…Do they put their name first on the scorecard? (a sign of “me first” attitude) Do they offer to buy the first round from the beverage cart? Do they remember their playing partner’s names?

•	Social/business political etiquette…Do they offer to drive the golf car? Do they help look for a lost ball? Do they offer to rake the bunkers for others? Do they repair ball marks on the green? Do they include everyone in the conversation?

Being aware and applying these seven strategies will definitely improve your chances of success in your business and personal life. See you on the golf course.

Body language is the meaning behind the words or the “unspoken” language. Surprisingly, studies show that only up to an estimated 10 percent of our communication is verbal.

The majority of the rest of communication is unspoken. This unspoken language isn’t rocket science. However, there are some generalizations or basic interpretations that can be applied to help with the understanding or translating of these unspoken meanings. Here are some basics below.

1. Smile

Women like warm smiles. Think of a heartfelt warm-fussy, maybe your favorite pet, and smile.

2. Eyes

If you don’t look a woman in the eyes while speaking, this can be interpreted as dishonesty or hiding something. Likewise, shifting eye movement or rapid changing of focus/direction can translate similarly.

If more than one woman is present in a group, look each in the eye as you speak, slowly turning to face the next with eye contact as well. Continue on so that each one has felt your warm, trusting glance. Some suggest beginning with one person and moving clockwise around the group so that no one is missed, and so that you are not darting around, seemingly glaring at people.

3. Attention Span / Attitude

Women can tell what type attitude you have by your attention span. If you quickly lose focus of what is being said, and if your attention span wanders, this shows through and makes you seem disinterested, bored, possibly even uncaring.

4. Attention Direction

If you sit or stand so that you are blocking another in the party, say someone is behind you, this can be interpreted as rude or thoughtless. So be sure to turn so that everyone is included in the conversation or angle of view, or turn gently, at ease and slowly, while talking, so that everyone is incorporated, recognized and involved in the conversation. Again some suggest the clockwise movement when working a group.

5. Arms Folded / Legs Crossed

This can be seen as defensive or an end to the conversation. So have arms hang freely or hold a glass of water, a business card or note taking instruments while communicating with women. Be open with open arms. Note: If you need to cross legs, cross at your ankles and not your knees. Sitting tightly folded up says that you are closed to communications.

6. Head Shaking

If women are shaking their heads while you speak, they are in agreement. If they are shaking, “no,” disagreement reigns in their minds.

7. Space / Distance -

On the whole, women like their own personal body space. Give women room and keep out of their space. Entering to close can be intrusive and viewed as aggressive. Leaning – Sitting or standing, leaning is viewed as interest. In other words, an interested listener leans toward the speaker. Note women’s body language – While you are with women, note how their bodies read. If a woman suddenly folds her arms across her chest and begins shaking her head “no,” you’ve probably lost her. You might try taking a step back and picking up where the conversation began this turn for the negative and regroup. It’s all about strategic planning!

Security is an obvious concern when it comes to any sort of technology, but even more so with any technology that is run through the Internet. Because VoIP runs through the Internet any information can be intercepted by anyone at any time. Because many things go through phone line, private information can wind up in the hands of the wrong person. Obviously, nothing is a one hundred percent guarantee because as fast as technology is made to keep information from getting in the wrong hands, the wrong hands are working to figure out how to break through those systems. Luckily, VoIP security is becoming more and more well rounded all the time and soon it’ll be so well done that even the best of the best won’t be back to get their hands on personal information.

One of the ways that most VoIP providers secure their customers personal information is through the tunneling and encryption process. These techniques keep hackers and those will ill intent from capturing information packets as they pass through the internet. Most VoIP providers use Layer 2 tunneling and an encryption method called Secure Sockets Layer or SSL to keep anyone from getting into the information they shouldn’t have. The security of VoIP will undoubtedly change and become more sophisticated as technology allows and consumers demand more security and more privacy. For some time to come VoIP security will remain a huge concern, just because it’s widely known that all information that passes over the internet could potentially fall into the hands of someone with ill intent.

Don’t let VoIP security issues keep you from getting VoIP services. The benefits of VoIP far outweigh the security risks. The bottom line is that you are more at risk every time you get online sending emails and paying bills than you will be every time you use your VoIP services. So, the features and convenience are well worth the small security risk associated with the internet access associated with it!

Chapter 13 is a bankruptcy law under which a petition can be filed by an individual or company. Chapter 13 dictates that the debtors repay the debt amount from their monthly earnings in installments. The court decides the time within which the decided amount has to be repaid to the creditors. Most of these will be for a maximum period of five years.

Employees and firms who have a steady income, in spite of all the debts incurred, can file a bankruptcy under this law. Since this law does not require any assets to be secured as liens, most people prefer this to the Chapter 7 law. This allows the debtor to keep a mortgaged home or car even while he’s paying his creditors from the monthly salary.

As in the case with Chapter 7 law, the automatic stay injunction is sent to all the creditors soon after filing the case and receiving the case number.

The debtor has to provide the details regarding the method of repayment. This might mean paying the creditors with the entire net income, other than absolutely necessary for basic needs, for about 3 to 6 years. The court will decide the amount that will be required for such basic needs. If some of the assets are not completely exempted, then that amount also has to be repaid within the given time slot.

As in the case of the Chapter 7 law, the individual gets to meet the trustee to provide the trustee with the details of income and the proposed plan to pay back the creditors within a given time frame. The trustee needs to make sure that the case is not fraudulent and that the plan provided by the individual will meet the creditors debt within the specified time limit.

The creditors can object to the plan provided by the individual before the final hearing in the court or even before the meeting with the trustee. Creditors can file their claim within 90 days after the individual’s meeting with the trustee.

The payments can start 30 days after filing the case till the end of the plan term. All the details will be taken care of by the attorney. However, the payments must be made without fail to avoid the dismissal of the case in court. Current payments must also be taken care of simultaneously to avoid leaving the case pending. This might result in the asset being taken away after the specified term finishes. A discharge order at the end of the term has to be sent by the court to confirm the absolute discharge from the case.

Online Shopping UK – Credit Card Security

Shopping on the Internet is no less safe than shopping in your local store. Follow these tips to ensure your online shopping experience is a happy one.

1. Will My Credit Card Details be Stolen?

If you shop at sites that offer secure payment procedures, the possibility of anyone getting your credit card details is small.

The main way that card details are stolen is from discarded credit card slips – picked up from rubbish bins or supermarkets.

However, if someone does steal your credit card details, the distance selling regulations give you the right to a refund from your card issuer for all money lost through fraudulent use.

2. How Do You Know a Site that Offers Secure Payment?

Look for the locked padlock sign at the bottom of your screen and an address starting with ‘https’(“s” for secure)instead of just “http” when you are asked to enter payment details.

This means you are in a secure part of the site and all information sent is scrambled by encryption software so that the details are impossible to find out by hackers. Do not give credit card details to a company that you have not checked.

3. Will Using my Credit Card Give Extra Protection?

If you spend between £100 and £30,000, a credit card such as Visa or Mastercard will give you extra protection under the Consumer Credit Act. The card issuer is jointly liable with the retailer for faulty goods bought in the UK and some issuers may accept liability for transactions involving foreign goods.

Debit cards such Visa Delta or Switch or Maestro usually do not give as much protection. So only use these cards for buying cheaper products.

4. Keep a Record of Your Purchases

Print out a copy of your order and confirmation number of your purchase for your own records. Reputable merchants will usually send an email confirmation of your order. However, a printed copy is useful to have in case your order is lost or deleted or not delivered.

Here is some witty poetry (not sure if that is the proper word: witty, but it will do): one poem on the Aztec year 2012, a year that has been in the public’s eye quite a lot; one on cloning, and the biblical end time events–which, if I may add seems ripe for the monster events that are said to take place; and two poems dealing with some tradtions of Peru; one imparticular, on vacationing, where not to go; all the makings for some thought.

Aztec Baby

On December 25, 2012 AD
The Devil had an idea
He’d clone himself
In the form of a baby;
Called the Antichrist.

#716 6/7/05

Scorpion Fetus

And from the fetus
Came beast from man
And from the Abyss
Came the raving demon

Man locked into
Animalsthat could
Think, think like man
With tails like scorpions

That would paralyze, sting;
All from, replicating…
Experimentations
Horrid, ramifications….

And thus, they came
They came to feast,
These Scorpion beasts
And brought humanity

Down, down, to its knees!…
These cloned hybrids,
Raving demonic beasts
Half human half dead.

#716 6/7/05

Atahualpa’s Game

Sometimes, it’s not wise
To share your wisdom
—as did, Atahualpa
(The Inca King) in the
Game of chess; thereafter,
He was condemned to death.

6/6/05 #713

Ica, Witches

Do not go to Ica, dear friend
There you may find witches
In toast and bread…

Perhaps lose your head,
Perhaps find them in bed
Perhaps, find yourself dead.

6/6/05 #714 [Ica, is in Northern Peru]

Web and video conferencing technology is becoming more sophisticated with each passing day. A few years ago it was a novelty just to talk with someone online, and view his or her image at the same time. Today web conferences bring together entire companies in complex interaction that rivals live face-to-face meetings. How you might benefit from the latest developments in web conferencing depends on your particular needs. Here are a few points that you should consider.

1. Do you need to make a Powerpoint or other presentation during your conference?

If you answered “yes” to this question, then you will be glad to know that current web and video conferencing services allow the host of a conference to present a slide show or power point demonstration that will be visible on the screens of all the participants of a conference. Similarly, hosts can also open and show other document formats to their attendees. If you need this kind of capability, make sure that your conference provider can give this to you.

2. Do you require telephone conferencing integrated with your web/video conference?

Many organizations have found telephone conferencing to be an effective way to get work done. If you are already connecting with your members and staff via telephone conferences you can expand on this by choosing a web conferencing system that integrates telephone conferencing along with the online conference. The combined service will give you the ease of phone conferencing along with the enhanced visual and presentation features of online conferencing.

Some services allow the host to pay the long distance bill of all the participants (toll free conferencing), while others require each participant to cover their long distance fees.

3. Do all of your conference participants use the same type of computer?

If your participants are going to be using a variety of computers (PC, Mac, Linux) then you will benefit most by choosing a web conferencing system that works on any platform. While earlier conferencing systems required the downloading of complex software that would work only on specified operating systems, newer conferencing formats are delivered online and are browser based. They work on any operating system and if yours in an eclectic audience, then you will get best results with this type of conferencing.

4. Will it be necessary for one of your technicians to “take-over” and operate the computers of any of your participants?

If you wish to use conferencing as a service tool and want to avoid having to send out your service team on physical visits to clients, you can save a lot of travel time and cost by selecting a web and video conferencing system that allows the host of the conference to go online and actually take control of the computer of the client or conference participant. If you are looking at web conferencing as an after-sales service tool, then this particular feature will probably give you one of the most important benefits that you could wish for.

5. Do you want to conduct an online poll or survey during the conference?

If you have a large organization and want to make a quick and accurate poll of opinion or vote on a particular issue then the new polling capabilities of the most advanced web conferencing services will be an important feature for you.

Similarly, if you need to gather demographic information about your meeting participants, obtain valuable input, or quiz and test your participants, then the new online survey capabilities of current web conferencing systems will be an important feature to look for when choosing your conference format. Data from these types of online “surveys” can typically be saved and used for future use.

6. Do you want to brainstorm online, using a “whiteboard”?

Brainstorming is a great way to tap the ideas of a group and to come up with and select new ideas. If this is what you like to do when holding physical meetings, then you will probably want to be able to do the same thing in your virtual meetings as well. This is now possible in some of the more advanced web conferencing systems by using a “group notepad” that enables meeting participants to utilize a shared workspace. The results of these brainstorming sessions can typically be saved in a storage area.

Which of these features will benefit you the most? It all depends on your particular needs. However, one thing is sure: once you experience the convenience of online meetings, you will not want to go back to the era when every meeting required you to pack up your bags and get on an airplane.

Facts about nutrition are becoming important to a greater number of people and that is terrific news for your health. There is an old saying that states: “You are what you eat.” – This holds true today just as it did centuries ago; even if it was originally coined when the majority of people received insufficient food. Today it refers more to the worldwide trend of over-eating.

Fortunately packaging now gives more advice on calories and servings. The major fault is that we ignore serving sizes; many people are quite happy to eat double size servings and then wonder why the pounds keep going on and the inward curves turn outward.

The new US label regulations force manufacturers to be more open with Nutrition facts and here are few tips concerning what you should check on the label.

Check serving size and use it. This figure is nutritional fact.

Check calories. A healthy adult requires at least 2,000 each day in total. Try to keep it below 2,750. The average American adult currently eats around 3,500 calories each day.

Avoid sugars. Sugar is calorie high and each one of us should check whether we need the amount of sugar that we use. I avoid sugar in beverages so that I can eat sweet things from time to time.

Know your fats. Foods that are low in saturated fats, trans-fats and cholesterol are good foods and will help reduce the risk of heart disease. (5% DV or less is low, 20%DV or more is high). Most of the fats you eat should be polyunsaturated or monounsaturated fats. Keep total fat intake between 20% and 35% of total calories.

Reduce salt intake. Research indicates that our total sodium (salt) intake should never exceed 2,300 milligrams (about 1 teaspoon) each day to reduce the risk of high blood pressure. You should also know that the majority of salt is taken in from processed foods rather than from the saltshaker. – Watch those processed foods. Also look for foods that are high in potassium because they counteract the effects of salt on blood pressure.

Finally we come to exercise. The whole world seems to have forgotten how important it is to exercise and exercise burns calories which reduces weight. We should slowly work our way up to one hour of exercise each day. This can be done in 12 five-minute periods or 6 ten-minute periods until you are able to exercise for longer periods.
